Commodore Karl Tagon
Karl Tagon – Former UNS General and Mercenary Commodore of Tagon's Toughs. Father of Kaff Tagon.
Description of the Character[]
A disciplined man. He is known to be a strategic thinker, while a man of action willing bring the fight to enemy in person.
Character History[]
Early History[]
Karl was a dedicated soldier, who was a stern and disciplined individual. He ingrained his ideals into his son Kaff.

Terraforming War[]
A colonel in the UNS prior to the Terraforming Wars began, the Tagon family was among the casualties of the first strike. The strike was focus on taking our key individuals in the UNS, which included Colonel. At the time, Lt Kaff Tagon had brought home young woman he was dating. She would turn out to be an assassin who ended up killing Tagon’s wife, Kathleen Mirali Tagon[1], and the rest of his family save himself and his son. Overnight, 95 percent of the UNS’s political and military personal would be killed, Karl being one of the few survivors and being promoted to General.[2]
Rescue from 3317 Paris[]
In middle of the night, Karl is woken up by sound of gun fire coming from Kevyn Andreyasn’s house next door. Armed with only a pistol and nothing else, Karl attempts to rescue Kevyn but is captured.[3] Due to effectiveness taking out of bountry hunters, they would end up beheading Karl and putting him in as Jar as form of restraint.[4]
Kevyn Andreyasn‘s time clone, Karl’s neighbor ended up making fortune through lottery and hacking. However, his hacking result enraging one of the owners of Damico-P'sloqye Corp whom owned by a Mafia group based exclusively on the asteroid 3317 Paris[5][6] Which he admits to Karl that he stole their money and they want it back.[7] In course of their in imprisonment, Kevyn builds a Teraport device disguised as a “Time Machine”, fooling Madam Damico.[8] Karl being reduced to a “Head in a Jar”, was able to link up with some Toughs who had arrive to rescue him and Kevyn. The Baroness Damico’s doctors would end up connecting his head to a headless Monkey, which he used to help liberate Kevyn before his brain would get carved in.[9] In the aftermath of the rescue, Karl’s body is restored and has taken residence on Dom. While there, the recently arrive Bristlecone notifies Karl’s son that she once crewed with Karl’s mother[10] and wished to meet with her[11]
Extraction Mission from Sol and Neofa Mission[]
At the request of Kathryn Flinders, Karl calls a favor to his friend, AI of the Bristlecone, to help extract former UNS friends of Kathryn. Teamed up with Nick, the trio travel to Sol’s Mall-One where Toughs had originally meet Flinders.[12]
While at Mall-One, Karl accidentally runs into a Neoafa[13], who after recovers urges Karl to recruit his son's mercenary company to help exterminate creatures inhabiting their ancient space station / Habitat, Eina-Afa, once owned by the ancestors of the Neoafa, the Oafans. Within him, he takes Kathryn Flinder's acrobat team with him, which turns out to be former intelligence analysts from the destroyed UNS Tunguska, whom are considered to be AWOL from the UNS. He would end up recruiting them, and with him in charge of the group.[14] In Time, he would become his son's unofficial Military Adviser, wearing uniform and managed the former Intel Team.

Commodore of the Tagon's Toughs[]
After his rescue, the Toughs expanded its numbers to include enough troops to require multiple warships. Karl's son, Kaff, would find the organization would be too big for him to manage. With the expansion of Toughs after the Eina-Afa warships were handed over to him, giving the Toughs small squadron of ships, Karl would end up offering him senior officer position of the Toughs, Commodore.[15] However, Time-Clone Kevyn Andreyasn would eventually suggest that Karl become Commodore of the Toughs to help better manage. Having experienced working with Karl who helped lead the Toughs in the old timeline, which Kevyn had come.
Chancellor of Jumpstar Lyceum[]
After his son would be drafted by the Plenipotent Dominion aka Petey to Andromeda Galaxy, Karl and some of the Toughs left behind at Jumpstar Prime, would end up running a think tank or university formed to deal with the issues of threats to the Milkyway galaxy and the mystery behind lost ancient civilizations.[16] Karl was chosen by his officer staff due to no need for a commodore leading a bunch of scholars.[17] However, he would not be tied to a desk, went on a mission with Captain Alexia Murtaugh aboard the Breath Weapon to investigate the wreck of the Pa'anuri Warship which the coalition manages to destroy at cost of the solar system and several largest of its Warships.[18]
Character Trivia[]
- General has an affection for mechanical hand-painted Gnomes and using them in war games. He once played a game against other Kevyn A, whom used Ninja and was defeated by Karl.[19]
- As Commodore of the Tagon's Toughs, the Karl has access to any space owned by the Toughs, thus no one can keep him locked out of anywhere or being stop him from access anything he needs.[20]
- Karl started regrowing his hair again over period weeks since he wanted to look not so old for the next thousand years.[21]
