Captain Landon, Polar Bear Internal Affairs agent of the JSC.

Character Description[]

Landon is a uplifted Earth Polar Bear known as a Ursumari.[1] He originally worked for the Jurisindependent Security Covenant as officer with the organization’s Internal Affairs Division. He later was assigned to a special detail to provide security for UNS Ambassador Sorlie.

Character History[]

BloodNannie Incident / New Century Rebellion[]

Landon first appeared in Book 15[2], where he lead an investigation into an assassination attempt against Breya. He recruits Mathilde Libretti. He assigns Officer Libretti collect statements from victims, she offended on scene.[3]

During course of the investigation, the JSC begins turn on their own officers, Landon is force arm himself against his own people.[4] Though wounded he manages to fight his way through what turns out to be nano-infected police.[5] He would be bloodied in the conflict, using modified M3 Incapacitator to takedown infected police in Plute Square.[6] The fighting with JSC would turn out to be part of what be called be New Century Rebellion.

Exile & New Assignment[]

In the aftermath of the conflict on new years, Landon would be reassigned off-world due to his actions (eating four people) during the conflict and his M3 Incapacitator became sentient AI on Earth which is a Non-Gun Zone.[7] However, reassigned to work with General Bala-Amin’s UNS team to dismantle Admiral Emm’s intelligence agency which was based on a incomplete Battleplate. He and the Tagon's Toughs would team up to hunt down Admiral Emma and her agent Kowalski.[8] Landon’s relationship with his gun has evolved into a relationship, which turns out the gun has a female personality who adores Landon.[9]

He and the Toughs manage to capture Kowalski after storming the safehouse, making him Sorlie’s prisoner.[10]

Landon would loose his right arm after bomb explosion takes it off while failing to protect Alexia Murtaugh when the two had enter Kowalski's Lab aboard yet-named Jumpstar Prime.[11][12] His weapon and AI companion, now named Tenzy builds him a new one.[13]

Ambassadorial Mission to Eina-Afa[]

During a dinner part months the bomb that killed Murtaugh, the Landon finds himself with new mission to Eina-Afa under newly appointed UNS Ambassador Bala, whom assigned him to run the security detail, with platoon of troops to command.[14]

Tenzy (1st appearance as bot)

Tenzy first appearance as Robot.

Early in the mission, Vog, former Toughs who was recently was revived would loose part of his memory forgetting and ask for sanctuary from Landon thinking the mercenaries were hostile. He would meet with newly resurrected Murtaugh who thanked him for trying save her.[15]
