Ship History[]
Xinchub Incident[]
When UNS General Xinchub (then also king of Yoming) faked his own death and was taken aboard Touch-and-Go, the Morokweng captured both the Touch-and-Go and Breya Andreyasn's embassy ship, and planned to destroy both to erase any possibility of Xinchub's secret knowledge from being leaked. However, by the time the ship and its crew had been secured by the UNS, Xinchub had already been safely extracted by Petey and moved aboard the Fleetmind ship Plaited Daisies.
Emm planned to execute and mindrip the captives, but was persuaded to instead use experimental nanites to extract and alter their memories. Following this treatment, the Toughs remembered Emm as their savior and benefactor, especially after she also had the Touch-and-Go repaired free of charge. The Toughs therefore accepted a contract to escort a food delivery to Credomar Habitat. They also hired on several new members from the Morokweng's civilian population, including Private Aardman and Ensign Para Ventura. (Much later, the latter turned out to have been a deep cover agent for UNS Internal Affairs Intelligence, likely already on assignment on the Morokweng.)
Destruction at Oisri[]
The Morokweng later attempted to seize control of Oisri, using a combination of brute physical force and nanite-controlled sleeper agents. Although their assault resulted in the death of numerous gavclones and two members of Tagon's Toughs, the battleplate was destroyed when Tagii lured a dark matter entity[2] directly into the ship by ramming through it while its shields were offline.[3]
The destruction of the Morokweng resulted in the loss of tens of thousands of crew, although some managed to escape (notably Emm herself, Kowalski. Captain Gasca and Aldo the barkeeper). Still others survived the destruction of Morokweng, and were later recovered by the UNS rescue cutter Fiscal Singularity, with the assistance of the UNS Vredefort.
