Uuplechan

Uuplechan are small cat-like aliens found in Uuplech.

In the Schlock Mercenary comic, they make their significant appearance in Book 18: Mandatory Failure. In this book, they have a crisis in outer Uuple which is likely to be fatally mismanaged. Existing laws prohibit outside parties from volunteering or contracting services, although the crisis clause permits citizens to authorize unremunerated outside assistance from immediate family members.

Uuplechan first appeared in a footnote of Resident Mad Scientists, in the footnote elaborating the similarities of recursive ammunition and The Cat in the Hat books.
